It’s been a successful week for high school sports. The Mountain View and Los Altos girls soccer teams won the Central Coast Section open and DI fields, respectively (Los Altos winning in a shootout after a scoreless game).

Both qualified for the California Interscholastic Federation Norcal regional tournament, Mountain View in DI and Los Altos in DIII.

Girls basketball also saw success. The Paly girls failed to win their pool and qualify for the championship in the CCS open division round robin, but qualified for the CIF DI championships regardless.

And, the Los Altos girls fell in the CCS DI semifinal, but similarly qualified for the CIF Division IV playoffs.
