Families gathered on University Avenue for Palo Alto’s 99th annual May Fete Parade on Saturday. This year, the event ran under the theme of “Empowering Wellness through Community.” Participants in the parade included middle school and high school bands, as well as the Palo Alto police department and other local organizations. The parade concluded at Heritage Park, where hundreds of family-friendly stalls educated people on topics such as environmental sustainability. The event also included a multitude of vintage cars, which were parked for viewing at the end, and food vendors.

Here’s the event, captured by our photographers.
