Local activist organization Justice Vanguard hosted their fourth annual Juneteenth Festival on Saturday afternoon. Community members came together to celebrate through activities such as music, speeches, sports and dance. 

Juneteenth commemorates the abolishment of slavery in the United States. As of this year, Juneteenth is recognized as an official federal holiday.
