Palo Alto High School celebrated its first day of homecoming spirit week today.

Freshmen dressed up as Oompa Loompas, sophomores dressed up as Mario Kart characters, juniors came as pirates and seniors carried the tradition of dressing up under the Y2K theme. At lunch, Paly held the first homecoming rally of the week on the football field, which featured dance and cheer team performances. Students also participated in a game of tug of war, which seniors won.
