Palo Alto officially premiered its first electric Caltrain at an event featuring train-themed games, an art giveaway, and free Caltrain rides last Saturday. In addition, District 16 Congresswoman Anna Eshoo spoke on what the new electric Caltrain meant to her. 

“I view all of us as ambassadors to the future, for all the youngsters that are here today,” Eshoo said. “You, the parents and the grandparents, can say that we did something for their generation and the generation past them that we can be proud of. That really is the mark of America’s progress.”
