Mountain View High boys soccer beats Palo Alto High 5–0

Mountain View High School’s boys soccer team routed Palo Alto 5-0 in a league matchup on Tuesday, Feb. 10.

Senior Aksel Adermann scored the only goal of the first half for the Spartans, while senior Cyrus Shafie notched a hat trick in the second half. Junior Kai Amemiya also scored.

For Palo Alto High, this loss marks their fourth straight game without a win, giving them a record of 5-8-3 on the season. The Vikings look to bounce back against third place Homestead High School on Thursday.

Mountain View is now 13-3-2 on the year and has now clinched at least second place in league behind Los Altos.
