Mountain View High School athletes recorded several podium finishes at the SCVAL Finals last weekend, with multiple competitors advancing to CCS Trials.

Liam Tassa won the boys 1600 meters in 4:20.55, while Martin Markov placed second in the 400 meters. Ryan Chen finished second in the 3200 meters and Deven Koppala placed third. Ethan Leonard won the triple jump and took second in the high jump, while Rhys Kellett placed second in the long jump.

For the girls team, Ada Bielinska earned second-place finishes in both the 1600 and 3200 meters. Clara Spiess placed third in the 100 meters, and Cassidy Misuraca took third in the 1600 meters.
