Today, Palo Alto High School recognized student-athletes during lunch on the Quad for committing to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level.
Cater Bader will play baseball at Whitman College, while Amaya Bharadwaj will compete in cross country and track at Stanford University, Parker Castro will play soccer at Haverford College, and Yara Chaib will play soccer at Johns Hopkins University.
Natalie Dymmel will compete in lacrosse at Radford University, Dorin Flynn will row at the University of Virginia, Dominic Hernandez will play lacrosse at Saint Mary’s College of California, and Reese Japic will play volleyball at the College of San Mateo.
Ian Johnston will play baseball at Pomona-Pitzer, Romy Kirby will swim at Columbia University, Kailia Leming will play flag football at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and Kevin O’Brien will play football at Fordham University.
Albert Pellizzari will play baseball at Menlo College, Fallon Porter will compete in swimming and water polo at Occidental College, Annelise Sailer will play field hockey at Skidmore College, Marley Shumaker will compete in indoor and beach volleyball at Berry College, and Jake Wang will play football at Bowdoin College.
