On Aug. 31, Los Altos High School girls varsity flag football shut down the Mountain View High School girls flag football team in a crosstown rivalry. Although the Spartans tried to tighten their defense, the Eagles broke through on nearly every play and eventually secured a 27-7 victory over the Mountain View Spartans.
