Los Altos High performed “Mary Poppins the Musical” on stage last weekend.

 

The story follows two kids who meet a magical nanny, Mary Poppins, who takes them on adventures, while they continue to struggle at home with their own uptight parents. Complete with British accents and old fashioned clothing, the students sang iconic songs from the original story like “Cherry Tree Lane,” “Step in Time” and “Chim Chim Cher-ee.”
